The Pokémon Company International returns to the fray and announces a new teraraid event for Pokémon Scarlet y Purple with Infernape as the protagonist.
Infernape will appear in black crystal raids from Friday, October 4, 2024 to Sunday, October 6, 2024, and also from Friday, October 11, 2024 to Sunday, October 13, 2024.
The one that is part of this event is of the Roca teratype. Prepare well, as he is an incredibly strong opponent, he even wears the Unbeatable Emblem to prove it! Gather your best allies to take on this powerful Teracrystal Pokémon!
This special Infernape can only be captured once per game.. If you already captured him during a previous tera-raid event, you won’t be able to do so again, but you can still fight him in tera-raids if you want to get more rewards once you’ve captured him.

By the way, remember the following guidelines before participating in the event:
- In order to participate in teraraid events, you will need to download the latest news from the Poképortal by selecting “Poképortal” from the main menu, then “Mystery Gift”, and finally “Receive Poképortal News”. A paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is not required to receive Poképortal news.
- After completing certain endgame events, you will be able to encounter Black Crystal Tera Raids. Players who have not completed these events will have the opportunity to participate in these types of raids by joining other Trainers in multiplayer mode.
- You will be able to find 5-star teraraids when you complete the main story of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Purple. If you have not completed it, you can participate in these types of raids by joining other Trainers in multiplayer mode.
- A Nintendo Switch Online subscription (sold separately) is required to participate in online raids with other players. Applicable terms apply.
- Theraid events will only take place in Paldea.
