While in New Orleans, United States (USA), the hurricane Ida is wreaking havoc and the evacuation of thousands of people, in California, a wildfire threatens to devastate entire communities.

The fire carries more than a week active. Firefighters and first responders have tried to suffocate it, but the wind and weather conditions have made it impossible.
Even the Riverside Fire Department published a video that shows the intensity of the fire, which forms up to “tornadoes”, and that was captured Saturday, August 28.

Due to this situation, seven states from the western U.S. are on alert and they have burned more than 1 million hectares, according to what was reported by the National Interagency Fire Center.
The worst affected areas are California, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana, all of which are under air quality alert.
