After the first opus broadcast last week, TMC this time offers Captain America, the Winter Soldier, the second part of the adventures of the Marvel superhero. The opportunity to come back to a small detail that has undoubtedly tickled your curiosity.
Is Captain America Francophile? The most observant spectators will surely have noticed a funny reference in the opening scene of Captain America, the winter soldier. We are at the beginning of the film, when Steve Rogers talks for the first time with Sam after his jogging. The superhero, frozen for 60 years, has a lot to catch up on.
He notes in a small notebook everything he has to watch or listen to. In the French version, we can read the names of Louis de Funes, Colouche, The Fifth Element, France 98 or even Daft Punk. But why are little-known French personalities in the USA like the two French comic actors on this list?

The reason is ultimately simple. This is a version adapted to each country and resulting from a competition organized among fans on social networks. The latter were invited to suggest choices to draw up a list of the significant events of the last decades. In the United States, the list is made up of names such as Steve Jobs or Nirvana but also the 1969 moon landing.

In England, Sean Connery or The Beatles are on the list of superheroes, which will also be different in Spain with tennis player Rafael Nadal or writer Camilo José Cela. Another example, Italy opted for the 1982 and 2006 football world cups, actor Roberto Benigni and singer Vasco Rossi.
