It’s official, after Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson will have the right to his own solo film! However, it is not yet clear what the exact plot of this feature film will be. If several theories would like that Captain America 4 films the alliance of the superhero played by Anthony Mackie, like Civil War, The Avengers, however, should not integrate the film scripted by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The reason in question? Continuing Sam Wilson’s story arc and sustaining Steve Rogers’ legacy in the MCU. Although the Falcon has been established in the Marvel Universe for several years, Captain America 4 will put Sam Wilson at the heart of the action for the first time. At the end of the series, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam has fully assumed his role as Captain America. He therefore now needs his own plot and his own antagonist, like what Steve Rogers got in the early stages of his story.
So the last thing Anthony Mackie’s character needs in Captain America 4, it is from a group of Avengers to help him or take away from him the time that should be devoted to him.
