Steve Rogers’ wish will finally be granted! After a few weeks of suspense and rumors, Sam Wilson has finally accepted his mission to become the new Captain America in the final episode of the Disney + series, Falcon and the Winter Soldier. With a spectacular and action-packed final episode, the winged superhero has done honor to his former teammate by showing himself more than worthy of the shield and the values carried by Steve Rogers. If many fans were hoping for a season 2 for the series, we get better! Yep, it’s official, a new Captain America movie is in the works!
It is Malcolm Spellman, screenwriter of the series, who is responsible for writing the script for this new film which we know little about at the moment, except that it will fit well in the timeline of the MCU and that Sam Wilson should obviously be the main character. No super serum for this new Cap ‘, but wings and new missions: if Steve Rogers was a very good Captain America, Sam Wilson, by his career and his history, can bring new depths to the character. The question we now ask ourselves is the following: what other characters from the series will be included in the film? Will we find Bucky, Sharon Carter, John Walker or Zemo? We can’t wait to find out!
