Jakarta –
Dyandra Promosindo in collaboration with the Indonesian Franchise Association (AFI) and the Indonesian Licensing Association (ASENSI) held a franchise business exhibition at the Jakarta Convention Center. The event will be held from August 5 to August 7, 2022.
One of the companies participating in this exhibition is Shell. This British oil and gas giant opens opportunities for people who want to partner with them. Shell offers two collaboration concepts, namely dealer partnerships and retailer partnerships.
“Dealers are like conventional gas stations in general, the land belongs to investors themselves with the Shell brand,” said Shell Retailer Selection Process Consultant, Ika, to detik.comFriday (5/8/2022).

For the retailer concept, building assets, land, and fuel have been provided by Shell. Ika explained that the dealer partnership investment ranges from Rp 2-5 billion. Meanwhile, retailer partnerships are around Rp. 500 million.
Of the two options, Ika said that retailer partnerships are more desirable because of the consideration of lower prices. Investors also have the potential to return on investment in just 2-3 years.
There are specific requirements that must be met to partner with Shell. For example, an Indonesian citizen with an age range of 27-55 years. The consideration is that at that age, potential investors already have the ability to manage and develop a business.
In addition, there is a selection test conducted online to test the competence of potential investors. Later, potential investors who have met the requirements but failed at this stage, have the potential to not be able to form partnerships.
Ika explained several advantages when partnering with Shell. One of them is quality assurance which emphasizes customer satisfaction service.
“Shell sells non-subsidized fuel, the market is clearly different from competitors. Shell also emphasizes service guarantees,” he said. People who are interested in partnering with Shell can visit the Shell booth at JCC, Senayan until 7 August 2022.
