Lazio won three points at home Inter Milan in continuation A league. Left behind first, the Capital Eagle took the lead and beat the Snake 3-1.
Eighth Giornata Italian League 2021/2022 bring together Lazio vs Inter. The duel took place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Saturday (17/10/2021) night WIB.
PENALTY! Inter were awarded 12 kicks in the 12th minute. Nicolo Barella violated Elseid Hysaj in the forbidden box.
The referee had to stop the match temporarily because Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review Hysaj’s foul on Barella. Penalty for Inter still awarded after VAR review.

GOAL! Ivan Perisic forward as Inter’s penalty taker. The Croatian shot the ball with his right foot which outwit Pepe Reina. The Nerazzurri lead 1-0.
Lazio trying to catch up. Toma Basic’s experiment in the 24th minute could still be blocked by Inter goalkeeper, Samir Handanovic.
No additional goals were created until the first half ended. Inter lead 1-0 over Lazio entering the second half.
Inter Milan got a chance to double the lead six minutes into the second half. Matteo Darmian’s header on target could still be saved by Reina.
PENALTY! Lazio got a golden opportunity to equalize from the spot. Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni caught a handball while blocking Patric’s header in front of goal.

GOAL! Ciro Immobile managed to outwit Handanovic and scored a penalty with his right foot. The position changed to 1-1.
2-1! Lazio turned ahead in the 81st minute. Felipe Anderson picked up Immobile’s shot which was parried by Handanovic, before slotting the ball into an empty net.
3-1! The hosts scored the third goal in stoppage time. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic met Luis Alberto’s free-kick with a header that beat Handanovic. The match ended with Lazio’s 3-1 victory over Inter.
This win takes Lazio up to fifth place Italian League standings with 14 points. Maurizio Sarri’s side are just three points away from Inter who are stuck in third with 17 points.
