This Tuesday, November 21 at 6 p.m., former Alaric third graders and their families were invited to receive their precious college diploma or general education certificate. A friendly evening which brought together more than a hundred people. These brand new high school students came one last time to their old establishment and it was with pleasure that they found themselves again and quickly got back on their feet.
This event, organized by the Alaric college, was led by the brand new principal of the establishment, Catherine Alm. But, she had previously invited Amar Redha Benali, the principal whom she replaced at the start of the 2023/2024 school year. Adored by all the students of the college, the latter was welcomed with fanfare by young people: “Happy to see you again. You arrived at the same time as me and also left at the same time as me. You also have the college record with 95% success, both diplomas combined, I am proud of it”rejoiced the former principal, very moved to find “ his kids “.
Excellent results
In 2023, 89.7% of middle school students (73) passed their certificate, including 22.6% with very good grades, 28% with good grades and 22% with fairly good grades. Which gives a good view of the academic level of this atypical college. As for the general education certificate, it is a 100% success. Note that for both exams, 100% of girls passed compared to 82% of boys. Surrounded by teachers and administrative staff, Catherine Alm presented the diplomas to each of the recipients. “This first diploma rewards 4 years of diligent college students, the moment is important and I hope that it will be followed by many”.
