Cape Verde’s players believe in their ability to win against Egypt and Mauritania in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers to qualify.
The Egyptian national team will play its match against the Cape Verde national team next Friday night, as part of the fifth round of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled to be held in Morocco.
Daylon Livramento said in statements on Cape Verde’s Facebook account: “We went through a difficult phase when we played the last two games without success, and we are fully aware that we have to win the next two games to ensure qualification for Africa. Nations Cup finals.”
Jair Semedo said: “Although we didn’t win the last match of the qualifiers, the team is still united.”
The Egyptian national team will start their camp for the month of November by facing the Cape Verde national team next Friday night at the national stadium, as part of the fifth round matches of African qualifiers.
The Egyptian national team will conclude their qualifying campaign by facing the Botswana national team on November 19, at the Air Defense Stadium, in the sixth round matches.
The Egyptian national team leads the Group C position in the qualifiers with 12 points, while the Botswana national team is in second place with 6 points, followed by the Cape Verde and Mauritania national teams with 3 points each.
Thus, the Egyptian national team has officially qualified for the finals of the African Cup of Nations 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Morocco.
