Capdenac-Gare. Nordic walking sport and health for seniors welcomes walkers

Since Tuesday, May 4, Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Capdenac-Gare, Amélie Baur has been offering a cycle of ten Nordic sport and health walking sessions reserved for seniors over 60 years old for € 45 per person.

A program 50% funded by the conference of funders (Aveyron departmental council, Mutualité Française, Social action Agir-Arrco, ARS, Rodez Agglomeration, Carsat Midi-Pyrénées, MSA, Independent social security, Aveyron health insurance, National Agency of habitat, CNSA).

The program for each session includes a warm-up, technical learning situations, muscle strengthening, a circuit of about 4 km and stretching. Nordic walking is practiced with specific poles which allow forward propulsion and thus energize walking. It uses more than 80% of the muscles of the body and expends 40% more energy compared to hiking. Walking poles are provided and disinfected.

There are still places, remember to register.
