Capcom’s Unannounced Game Release in 2024: Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, or Dino Crisis Remake?

Capcom plans to release a major and unannounced game during the first three months of 2024. The publisher announces the news through its latest financial figures. A reveal of the title will probably follow during The Game Awards in December.

Which mysterious game is it? We can only guess. Since it is an ‘important’ release for Capcom, it could be a new installment in the Monster Hunter franchise. The series will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in March 2024. Although it could just as well be that long-awaited remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X? Maybe even Devil May Cry 6. Or possibly a Dino Crisis remake?

So many options, but we will probably have to wait until The Game Awards in December for the reveal. Unless Sony wants to unleash another State of Play on us in November.

Whatever title it may be, the game will certainly give Capcom’s figures a strong boost. The publisher is on track to achieve growing turnover for the eleventh year in a row. There is no doubt that the remakes of that older Resident Evil game were a good choice.

Which game would you like to see from Capcom?
