In a few hours we can enjoy a digital event where Capcom will be giving news of several of its upcoming releases. It will start at 5:30 PM ET, though it will start 20 minutes earlier with a pre-show. As it could not be otherwise, the big star of the show will be Resident Evil 4, which hits stores later this month, though there will be more.
And this upcoming installment is a revisit of one of the most beloved, yet also controversial, parts of the saga. While it was a complete break with what was established in the saga we saw in the original trilogy and RE: Code Veronica, then the trend towards more concrete action ended in Resident Evil 6, the closest thing to a Michael Bay movie that granted the license.
In recent months we have already seen several trailers that have shown us all the new features that will come with this new version, and they are not few: new animations, more abilities for Leon, such as dodging and melee attacks … It is undoubtedly the stellar release of Capcom at the start The year is 2023, but we will see many games during the event.
Among those confirmed are Exoprimal, a futuristic multiplayer game featuring dinosaurs, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Monster Hunter Rise. In fact, we’re not expected to see anything from Street Fighter 6, but given its importance and the time left until its launch – early June – it’s likely that it will be the protagonist of its own exclusive event.
