Even though Resident Evil and Monster Hunter are Capcom’s best-selling franchises, many people probably still consider Mega Man their mascot. But it’s been a long time since we’ve seen Blue Bomber in any new adventures, and when he returns – mostly in retro series.
Fortunately, Capcom has not forgotten him and is currently working on “Consider what to do” A new game in the franchise. During a recent Q&A session with Capcom shareholders, the company was asked about the future of Mega Man, and replied:
“Including the latest work in the series, “Rockman 11”, Rockman is one of Capcom’s long-standing IPs and is deeply loved by fans, so we hope to be more cautious when developing this series. We are considering how to make the series. New titles, which require many factors, including developing solid concepts, ideas, and gameplay.
Considering what Capcom has done with their other classic brands over the past few years, it will be very interesting to see what they come up with for Mega Man.
