Capcom brings Resident Evil 2 to iOS devices

Given that it’s only available on a handful of iPhones and Apple models, it’s perhaps no surprise that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard didn’t sell like hotcakes when it launched on mobile devices. But even after reporting 2,000 units sold just weeks after its mobile debut, that hasn’t stopped Capcom from wanting to explore the mobile world further.

It has now been revealed that Resident Evil 2 will be the next to appear on iOS. Specifically, only those with an iPhone 15 Pro or later, or any iPad or Mac with an M1 or later, running iOS 17 / macOS 13.0 or later will be able to see the famous survival horror in the game, the recent remaster to be precise, ready to arrive at the end of 2024.

We still don’t have an exact release date to report, but the Resident Evil 4 remake is coming to mobile devices in December 2023, so Capcom may be eyeing another December release for the project as well .
