Each ticket costs $2.99, but there are discounts available for multipacks of three or five tickets. VGC estimated that players who choose to buy everything would get 23 upgrade tickets for a total cost of $55.89.
Surprisingly, there was no indication from Capcom prior to release that microtransactions would be added to the game despite its successful sales record which boasts four million copies sold across all platforms in its first two weeks.
