Capaccio, company wastewater dumped in a ditch: businesswoman reported

The commitment of the Carabinieri and the Environmental Security Guards Unit of the Kronos Academy continues in the activity to protect the environment envisaged within the National Protocol signed between the Carabinieri – Carabinieri Forestry, Environmental and Agri-food Unit Command and the Kronos OdV Academy Association. Yet another joint operation completed last week in the territory of Capaccio allowed us to ascertain that she has been an entrepreneur for some time illegally disposed of his company’s wastewater in a ditch canal which after a short journey reached the nearby consortium canals.

Also in this case the use of particular and sophisticated equipment supplied to the Kronos Academy Security Guards Unit was found, in fact thanks to the use of a droneit was possible to ascertain the presence of wastewater in the canal ditches downstream of the company but also the widespread presence of livestock effluents deposited in an uncontrolled manner on nearby company land. Following what had been ascertained, the soldiers and technical staff of the AK Guards Unit went to the company and started a thorough inspection activity which immediately allowed them to also ascertain thanks to the use of particular dyes (fluorescein) that all the wastewater deriving from the company centre, due to the complete absence of regulation, was illicitly disposed of in some private canal ditches and then in the consortium canals to then enter the sea after a long journey.

After this initial activity, the military, having ascertained that the businesswoman had been illegally disposing of the livestock waste coming from the structure onto the ground for some time, on the nearby uncultivated land, causing a widespread phenomenon of soil pollution, proceeded to produce suitable photographic surveys, arrange for the immediate interrupt this illicit conduct and report the entrepreneur in a state of freedom for having illicitly managed and disposed of special non-hazardous waste and for having created an uncontrolled deposit of special non-hazardous waste within the company land.
