The funds for the construction of the factory come from funds obtained from an initial public offering (IPO).

Jobubu Needles Minahasa managing director Audy Lieke said the IPO was the initial stage in the factory’s construction. After the IPO we will proceed to the next phase, i.e. the purchase of the land.

He said the factory construction process will start this year.

“So when I think as soon as possible in 2023 we can start the process of third party land purchase,” he told IDX Jakarta on Friday (6/1/2023).

The construction of this factory will take 1-2 years. It expects construction of the factory to be completed between 2024 and 2025.

“So we can be added on a per SKU (stock holding unit) brand,” he said.

Furthermore, the company currently produces around 1 million liters of alcoholic beverages per year. Meanwhile, the permits pocketed by the company reach 90 million liters a year.

Since the IPO, the company expects funds of Rp 176 billion. As quoted from the company’s prospectus, the company has allocated 5.36% or approximately Rp. 9.25 billion for capital expenditure in the form of leasehold land located in Jetis village, Tengaran district, Semarang regency, Central Java, with an area of approximately 2ha. The purpose of purchasing this land is to build the company’s manufacturing facilities

Hence, the company allocates 6.23% or approximately IDR 10.74 billion to build manufacturing facilities including industrial buildings, infrastructure, raw material warehouses and finished products warehouses on the land to be purchased. This cost does not include the purchase of production machines.

Additionally, the remainder will be used for working capital to support the company’s business activities, including but not limited to the purchase of raw materials.
