Cap d’Agde: Gala evening for the 25th anniversary of the Boat Fair

Belvedere hosted a gala evening at the Palais des Congrès to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Salon Nautique du Cap d’Agde, this Wednesday October 30, 2024.

The evening was held in the presence of Sébastien Frey, mayor of Agde and president of the Hérault Méditerranée Group, Patrice Canayer, regional councilor of Occitanie, Pascal Pintre, general director of Blue Invest in Sète Cap d’Agde Méditerranée, as well as Liliana Costanza, curator of the Exhibition, Sylvain Pereyre, president of the Association of Marine Professionals and Éric Péron, sponsor of this edition.

For Éric Péron, an experienced sailor, the evening also took a nostalgic turn.

The Tourist Office of Cap d’Agde Méditerranée followed his journey, finding in the archive press releases and the results of the competition of young sailors in which he participated in 1998, together with his brother, finishing on the podium. These memories, given by Laurence Richard from the Tourist Office and Laurent Bourriquel, director of the port of Cap d’Agde, gave the sailor a moment full of emotion.

After the official speeches, the event continued around a drink, allowing guests, professionals in the sector and exhibitors of this edition, to share this moment of mystery and celebrate the quarter century of this meeting together as a symbol of the marine world.
