Canton of Vaud: A child falls from a climbing wall in Saint-Cergue

An eight-year-old boy was slightly injured after falling three meters into a climbing wall in Saint-Cergue.

The causes and circumstances of the accident in a climbing wall have yet to be clarified.

A child was slightly injured Thursday at midday in Saint-Cergue after falling from a climbing wall. The 8-year-old boy was not roped when he started climbing, explains the Vaud cantonal police in a press release released on Friday.

The child, who fell three meters, was helicoptered for checks. The investigation should make it possible to establish the causes and circumstances of this accident.
