Contacted by Keystone-ATS on Tuesday, Pete Mager, managing partner of the communication agency By the Way studio in Friborg, had articulated an amount of 70,000 francs. The amount of 179,000 francs is given net, after deduction of the costs of an operation carried out jointly with the advertising printer Ready to Brand, in Sévaz (FR).
Quoted in a press release published on Friday, Pete Mager expressed his great surprise, knowing that barely eight days ago, when the idea hatched, he was planning to rake in between 5,000 and 10,000 francs only. In the end, no less than 20,336 t-shirts found buyers. There has been a real acceleration since Wednesday.
The t-shirt was sold 25 francs a piece online. Gross turnover exceeds half a million francs. The sum was generated in one week. It was immediately planned to give the charity operation for the direct and indirect victims of the Covid-19 pandemic an ephemeral dimension. (ats / nxp)
