SANTANDER, 13 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Cantabria has added a patient hospitalized for Covid-19 in the last few hours, bringing the total to 13, on a day in which the incidence of cases in people over 60 years of age has dropped significantly to 15 days.
According to data from the Cantabrian Health Service corresponding to the closing of the 12th, two new cases of coronavirus have been registered among people over 60 years of age -the only group for which community transmission data is offered-, which is seven less than on the day former.
In the last week the positives detected amount to 45 and 75 if the previous one is also taken into account.
For its part, the cumulative incidence at 14 days among people over 60 years of age stands at 43 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 15 less than the day before, and remains at 26 to seven days. Both parameters are at controlled risk, like Cantabria as a whole.
Regarding hospitalization, there are 13 admitted, one more than on Tuesday, but the occupancy of beds continues at 0.8%. In addition, there are still no patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Of those admitted, five are in the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital, five in Sierrallana and three in the Laredo region.
In addition, during the day no new deaths from Covid have been recorded, with which the deaths since the start of the pandemic remain at 1,021.
