Cantabria adds two deaths from Covid and reaches 1,015

SANTANDER, 20 (EUROPA PRESS)

Cantabria has added two deaths from Covid-19, amounting to 1,015 since the start of the pandemic, according to the latest data published by the Cantabrian Health Service (SCS), in which the rest of the indicators — all at risk controlled– have not registered notable variations except for those hospitalized, which have decreased.

Thus, this Thursday seven new coronavirus positives have been detected among people over 60 years of age – the only group for which community transmission data is offered – which is one less than on Wednesday.

In the last seven days, 54 new cases have been registered, which rise to 124 if the last two weeks are taken into account.

In this way, the incidence at 14 days in people over 60 years of age continues at 71 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and has risen to 31 at seven days, one more.

On the other hand, those hospitalized for Covid-19 have been reduced to 15, seven less than on Wednesday, with which the occupancy of beds has dropped half a point, to 0.9 percent. In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) one person is maintained and an occupation of 0.8%.

Of the total, eight are admitted to the Marqus de Valdecilla University Hospital, including the ICU, five in Sierrallana and two in Laredo.
