SANTANDER, 3 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Cantabria has added two deaths from Covid-19 this Monday, amounting to 852 since the start of the pandemic, 17 of them in the last week. On this day, the new positives over 60 years of age have once again exceeded 200, while the hospitalization data has not evolved but the seven-day incidence has decreased, according to the latest Health data corresponding to the end of May 2.
Thus, this Monday 222 new cases have been registered, which are 132 more than on Sunday. In the last seven days, the positives detected in those over 60 years of age – the only data provided by Health – have been 1,228, amounting to 2,243 at 14 days.
The accumulated incidence has risen to 14 days, with 1,281 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which is 34 more than on Sunday; but it has dropped to seven days, to stand at 701, that is, 20 less than the day before. Both parameters remain at a medium risk level.
In the hospital setting there has been no change compared to the previous day, with 55 admitted to the ward and four in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Hospital bed occupancy remains at 3.4%, at a low risk level, and the seven-day admission rate at 18%, at medium risk. In the ICU, occupancy has dropped seven tenths, to 2.1%, and remains at controlled risk, while the admission rate remains at 1.7%, at low risk.
In Valdecilla, 34 patients are admitted, including the four in the ICU, and there are 13 in the Sierrallana Hospital in Torrelavega, 3 in the Comarcal de Laredo and 5 in the Reinosa.
