Bayern Munich’s South Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae had a tough night against Real Madrid (2-2) in the Champions League on Tuesday. First he went off when Vinicius Junior got free to make it 1-0, and then he caused a penalty, which resulted in a 2-2 final in the first semi-final meeting of the tournament.
TV4 Play expert Mikael Lustig is not impressed by Min-jae’s night.
– Having defenders who want to play hero in their own penalty area does not hold up at this level, says Lustig in the Champions League studio.
– He got off to a pretty good start and played hard, but then he tried to break in front of Vinicius Junior, who is good in depth. You know that if there’s one thing to do, it’s to fall, he continues about Min-jae’s actions at Vinicius Junior’s first goal.
About the penalty situation, Lustig says the following:
– The last thing he managed to do was actually walk away. Somewhere he must know. It was first punishment with one arm, and then he helped with one leg.
