The RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z represents a significant milestone in lens technology, something that many photographers and filmmakers have been waiting for. The RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z combines the convenience and reach of the RF 24-105mm F4L IS USM lens with the creative low-light capability of the RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM – so you no longer have to choose between these two qualities to compose the perfect image. The lens also features 5.5 stops of optical image stabilization for unparalleled image quality (up to 8 stops with a camera with built-in image stabilization1). The result is extreme stability for handheld movie recording and high image quality when shooting in dynamic situations, such as at weddings or other events. The convenient aperture lens ring (for film) provides good control over exposure change – along with an 11-blade aperture for attractive bokeh.
