Junior and U23 selections for the world championships and European championships
The selections for the junior and under 23 categories took place this Saturday, with some great successes for our Breton slalomers. Some seniors were allowed to participate, but without intervening in the ranking, like Cédric Joly and Camille Prigent.
Camille Castryck (Cesson Poisson Volant) won the junior race, followed by Romane Regnier (KC Rennes). Arthur Mizzi (KC Rennes), taking 5th place in the day’s standings in K1, is third in U23 and thus enters the selection race for the France team.
In a single-seater canoe, the nice surprise comes from Mewen Debliquy who finished 2nd. The Cessonnais completed a round without penalty, in contact with the greatest!
On Sunday, the last two rounds of these selections will take place, which will determine the final selection of the France team.
