Cannabis cultivation cases: More than 4,800 people benefit from royal pardon

HM King Mohammed VI pardoned 4,831 people who were convicted, prosecuted or wanted in cases related to the cultivation of cannabis, meeting the conditions required to benefit from the pardon, reveals press release from the Ministry of Justice.

“In addition to its human aspects, this High Royal Request will allow the beneficiaries of this grace to integrate into the new strategy, in which these areas have engaged, after the creation of the National Agency for the Management of Cannabis-related Activities and in the structural impact of its activities at economic and social levels through the business, processing, export of cannabis and the importation of its products for medical, pharmaceutical and industrial purposes, as well on his contribution to the development of other crops and non-agricultural activities. ”, emphasizes the press release.
