Cannabis and cocaine seized
In this context, the police will make a nice seizure of drugs from the two people arrested.
“In one of the two suspects, there are nearly 500g of cannabis resin ready for resale, already distributed in pouches“, details Cédric Fèvre.
“In the second, the investigators get their hands on 1kg of cannabis resin in a somewhat atypical form, namely in soap bars 2cm thick, like an A4 pocket, more flattened than usual allowing them to be concealed more easily.“, he explains.
But the discoveries don’t stop there. “In the car of the second suspect, we found 95 grams of cocaine”continues the commissioner.
Judged in immediate appearance
The two Dracénois were brought before the judge. Charged, they were tried in immediate appearance by the judicial court of Draguignan, Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
“The first individual from whom the pouches were seized was sentenced to twelve months in prison with a probationary suspension of two years with an obligation to care and work”reports Commissioner Fèvre. “The second individual in possession of the kilo of cannabis and cocaine was sentenced to one year in prison and his vehicle, an Audi A1, was seized.”
