From May 26 to June 5, the Unesco Global Geopark of Causses du Quercy offers many activities on the occasion of European Geoparks Week. After a confined 2020 edition, workshops and walks on emblematic natural sites of the Causses du Quercy are back, to the delight of young and old. This year’s theme, “From One World to Another”, invites you to dive into the past to explore the history of the Earth… and of man!
The start of this week of events will be given this Wednesday, May 26 in Caniac-du-Causse, in the sensitive natural area of Planagrèze. At 10 a.m., the Olterra association will invite you for a nature walk with playful games, from 6 years old. Then at 2:30 p.m., Laurent Clavel, leader of the ENS, and Guilhem Boucher, of the La Granja association, will invite you to explore the link between geology and toponymy in this remarkable natural space.
