Saul “Canelo” Alvarez has decided on his fierce rivalry with Jendayi Golovkin, with the Mexican boxer winning the third fight between them on Saturday night, unanimously, to keep the world title in the super middleweight title in Las Vegas.

The two bitter rivals first met in the ring in 2017, and fought to finish the match in a draw, a result that sparked great controversy.

In the 2018 rematch, Alvarez won points in a much more controversial bout that many observers thought might work in his opponent’s favor.

Alvarez faced no problems this time against Golovkin of Kazakhstan (40), the current middleweight champion, who struggled to conserve energy to lose for a second time in their third fight.

This time Alvarez left no room for opinion split and dominated most of the confrontation periods and was quicker to throw punches and excelled at 116-112, 115-113 and 115-113, putting the future of Golovkin in boxing.

The win came in perfect timing for Alvarez, 32, after losing only his second career in a previous fight against light heavyweight champion Dmitri Bevol in May.
