Kemiri Muka Market, Depok City, West Java, reported fire, Monday (2/5). The incident occurred at around 18.30 WIB.
“That’s right, earlier at 18.30 WIB, we did the cooling, thank God,” said Depok City Fire Service Staff, Teguh Setiawan when confirmed CNNIndonesia.com.
Teguh claims the fire has been extinguished. However, he could not confirm the cause of the fire. Teguh can only report that there were no victims.
“The fire has been extinguished, now thank God, it’s raining too. About 20 minutes,” he said.
From the video circulating on social media, the fire looks quite big. Thick black smoke rose into the sky.
Kemiri Market is near Depok Baru Station. This incident is said to have disrupted the journey of the Jakarta-Bogor KRL connection.
KRL is reportedly stuck at the University of Indonesia and Depok Lama stations.
