On this day, about 50 people, including Chuncheon Candlelight Action members, organizers and citizens, held candles in the cold season to commemorate the unfortunate sacrifices in Chuncheon Eightho Square.

Participants collected candles and composed the four letters “I will light (light it)” to reveal their willingness to discover the cause of the disaster.
They also expressed their condolences by queuing at the incense burner on the site.
After the demonstration, the participants marched about 900 meters to the town hall and lit candles.
A Chuncheon Candlelight Movement official said, “The country responsible for the disaster has hastily set a mourning period and is forcing them to return to their daily lives once this is over.” “We plan to hold candlelit vigils every week.”
