HOW YOU VOTE
1. Cross on the name of the candidate for president.
2. Cross on the list symbol (the vote extends to the candidate connected president).
3. Croce on the name of the candidate for president and on one of the lists related to him.
4. Cross on the name of the candidate for president and on one of the lists NOT connected to him (separate vote).

In the last three cases, one or two preferential votes can be cast for a candidate director, by writing the surname.
If there are two preferences, one must be for a man and one for a woman, on pain of canceling the second preference.

HOW THE DISCLOSURE VOTE WORKS
The separate vote or panachage is an electoral system that provides for the possibility of casting two votes, one for the choice of the party, the other for the choice of the candidate. The voter can also express preference for a candidate from a party other than the one chosen. The division of seats takes place on the basis of the votes obtained by the party, and within the list the candidates who obtain the most preferential votes prevail. In Italy, separate voting is allowed for regional and municipal elections in municipalities with more than 15,000 inhabitants.

CALABRIA
According to the June 2019 census, the Calabrians called to the polls, from 7 to 23, to elect the President of the Region and 30 regional councilors, will be 1,909.58, of which 934,483 males and 975,100 females. The sections set up are 2,419. There are 5,774 male eighteen called to vote, 5,640 eighteen year olds, for a total of 11,414. They can choose from four presidential candidates, supported by 14 lists. To compete for the presidency are: Jole Santelli (supported by Lega, Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia, Unione di Centro, Santelli Presidente, Casa delle Libertà), Pippo Callipo (Democratic Party, Democrats and Progressives, I remain in Calabria), Francesco Aiello (5 Star Movement, Calabria Civica) and Carlo Tansi (Calabria Treasury, Free Calabria, Clean Calabria). In order to be able to join the Regional Council, each coalition is forced to overcome the barrier of 8%, while the individual lists have 4%. Separate voting is not allowed
