Magdeburg (dpa / sa) – Six days before the state elections, the six most promising top candidates meet in Magdeburg. Reiner Haseloff (CDU), Oliver Kirchner (AfD), Eva von Angern (left), Katja Pähle (SPD), Cornelia Lüddemann (green) and Lydia Hüskens ( FDP) discuss the most important topics of the state parliament.
In addition, the politicians should ask themselves selected questions from citizens on various topics. However, the questioners are only switched on because of the corona pandemic. The politicians, on the other hand, are on site at the MDR radio station in Magdeburg. Strict distance rules apply and all participants are tested beforehand. The live broadcast will be broadcast on television, on the radio station MDR Aktuell, on YouTube and on Facebook.
The “electoral arena” is the only such meeting of the six in this election campaign. 1.8 million Saxony-Anhalters will then vote for the new Magdeburg state parliament on Sunday – with several thousand voters having cast their votes by postal vote before the broadcast.
