Candidates await CM’s decision; Withdrawal only if guarantees are given in writing Kerala PSC Rank Holders Protest | Malayalam News

Thiruvananthapuram: The PSC candidates are of the view that they will withdraw from the strike only if the assurances of the government are given in writing. After waiting for the government’s decision till this evening, Laya Rajesh, the leader of the strike, said that the hunger strike will be announced from tomorrow.

It is learned that Additional Chief Secretary for Home Affairs TK Jose and Headquarters ADGP Manoj Abraham handed over the details and suggestions of the meeting to the Chief Minister’s Office. Now it is up to the Chief Minister to decide.

During the discussion, officials said there were a number of official hurdles in replacing the temporary six-month-olds and appointing watchmen from the LGS list. The government has not given any definite assurance other than listening to what the civil police candidates have to say.

The strike lasted 28 days

Candidates in the CPO, LGS and faculty rank lists are still on strike. The strike by PSC Last Grade Servant candidates has been going on for 28 days. The protest by civil police rank holders took place on the 15th. Those on the KSRTC driver list also started a strike in front of the Secretariat.
