“AHY has surprisingly increased his electability as a presidential candidate from a range of below 2 percent to 6.3 percent, catching up with Prabowo who is still the top and RK and Ganjar,” said CPCS Executive Director Tri Okta SK in a press release in Jakarta on Monday ( 25/3/2021).
According to Okta, AHY’s surge in electability cannot be separated from the efforts of a number of groups involving the Palace to overthrow his leadership. Democrats, who are opposition parties, have been targeted to be tamed and drawn into the already very fat coalition government.
The KLB, which seemed very forced and chose the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Moeldoko as the general chairman who was not a Democratic cadre, drew sympathy from the public. The figure of AHY who was wronged reminded him of when his father Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) rose to the stage of power in 2004, Okta continued.

Meanwhile Prabowo’s electability in one year remains superior, from 22.7% in the March 2020 survey to 18.4% (July 2020) and 19.2% (November 2020), now at 20.6%. “After the 2019 Election, Prabowo still enjoys electoral excellence and has a strong chance of advancing again, with competitors RK and Ganjar,” said Okta.
Rodwan Kamil from 5.8% (March 2020) soared to 11.3% (July 2020) and 9.3% (November 2020), now it has risen again to 15.2% or second place. The reward from 8.5% (March 2020), up to 13.5% (July 2020) and 16.0% (November 2020), has now dropped to 14.7% and is shifted to third place.
Next is AHY (1.4% / 1.8% / 1.9% / 6.3%) in fourth place and Erick (4.1% / 3.1% / 2.7% / 5.6%) in fifth. Then below is Sandi (12.1% / 9.3% / 5.8% / 5.4%) and Anies (13.8% / 10.6% / 6.6% / 5.1%).
