Candidate reaps criticism on Twitter for appearance

The appearance of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” Candidate Olivia Peters at Günther Jauch (64) is currently being hotly debated and blasphemed on the internet. It didn’t exactly make the best impression on the audience.

It started with the 500 euro question: “What service provider do you call weak football clubs in industry jargon?” “Points supplier”, “strip dealer”, “plaid deliverer” or “diamond collector?” When she ponders for a long time and says: “There are such football lists,” she makes malicious comments. Finally, she taps A, which is the correct answer.

The real estate agent drew the 50/50 joker on the 4,000 euro question. When this did not confirm her original tip, she commented with “Shit!” That earned her rebuke from Jauch. «I would like to have missed the word in all its form. Because apparently it must have helped you quite a bit. Otherwise you would have taken A and would have been out in no time », said the moderator.

Finally, Peters comes to the 8,000-euro question: “Anyone who calls themselves a noob when playing video games …?” «Gets nothing on the line», «only plays with one hand», «beats every opponent» or «gamble around the clock».

She wants to be helped by someone from the audience and decides on a woman who guesses A, but is not entirely sure. Peters then says annoyed to her Joker: “That’s what you got up for … Thank you!” But when answer A, “A noob can’t figure anything out”, is resolved correctly, she nods to the candidate.

The candidate has to pass the 16,000 euro question and takes 8,000 euros home. But she is dissatisfied with the profit and complains: “I wanted to take a year off. Unfortunately, that’s not possible with 8000 euros. ”
