In view of the presidential election on August 26 in Gabon, the Republican and Social Majority for Emergence (MRSE) has decided to support Ali Bongo Ondimba. The political formations of this movement demonstrated this commitment yesterday in a declaration. “The political parties, members of the majority, signatories to this motion of support, unreservedly support the candidacy of the Majority Leader, His excellent Ali Bongo Ondimba for the presidential election of August 26, 2023”, declared Anna Claudine Ayo, widow Mavioga, president of the Christian Democratic Bloc (BDC) and spokesperson for the majority.
Among these political parties that have decided to unite behind the Head of State are the Conscience and Citizen Action (CAC), the Independent Republican Coordination (CRI), Gabon Avenir, the Builders of the Republic, the original MORENA, the Gabonese Party of the Independent Center (PGCI), the Gabonese Labor Party (PTI), Rally of Independent Democrats (RDR), Rally of the Gauls, Union of Republican Democrats (UDR), Gabonese Socialist Union (USG), Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) and the Rally for Popular Dynamics (RDP). “These parties call on all activists, members and supporters of their political parties to mobilize, urge them to be vigilant, calm, maintain living together, invite them to vote massively for their candidate, His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba the August 26, 2023,” she said.
