Candace Owens lashes out at kids’ vaccination campaign in New York – rt usa news

Conservative expert and talk show host Candace Owens said New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plan to give children $ 100 for the Covid-19 vaccination amounted to brainwashing.

Owens was asked by Fox News about Mayor de Blasio’s announcement that children between the ages of five and 11 could receive $ 100 from the city if they were vaccinated.

“He buys a lot of candy” said the mayor.

Owens, who is known for her strong opposition to vaccination warrants, opposed the “Sinister” idea. “There is something about this that looks like a child predator approaching your child, isn’t there?”She said, saying authorities should leave medical decisions like vaccination to parents instead of « corruption » children.

She went further, comparing campaigns to encourage childhood immunizations to totalitarian regimes of the past, including Nazi Germany and the USSR under Joseph Stalin.

“We are talking about the schools and the government that publish these brainwashing doctrines to say to children, ‘It’s okay, do this or that.’ It is because they are trying to raise … children to do what the state definitely wants. And it is alarming.

“It’s a dystopian nightmare” this Owens.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) this week recommended the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine for children aged five to 11. The agency said children can end up in hospital and die from the virus, or suffer from long-term complications that can last for months.

“During a 6-week period from the end of June to mid-August, hospitalizations related to COVID-19 in children and adolescents quintupled” the CDC said. The agency added that the Pfizer injection was nearly 91% effective in preventing Covid-19 in children of the affected age group, with the most common side effect being pain in the arm.
