The people, who live with Cancer, they can approach any vaccination point to access the doses anticovid-19, from 15:00, every day. Those over 18 are immunized; they only have to present a medical certificate that detail your pathology. That’s what the Minister of Public Health replied, Camilo Salinas, this Thursday, May 13, 2021.
These patients -also known as oncological- are part of the priority groups for the immunization on the phase one. To them are added the older adults, healthcare workers, firemen, etc. In total, it seeks to inoculate 1.8 million people, with the first dose, until next Thursday, May 20, 2021.
On Youth Against Cancer Foundation 670 of its members, over 18 years of age, are expected to receive the formulas against SARS-CoV-2, according to the CEO, Gustavo Dávila.
He highlighted the importance from immunize to this population. “The fight to achieve vaccination of cancer patients was worth it; although there is still much to do ”.
On Quito -Dávila pointed out- the ‘warriors’ have approached the inoculation sites, located in the north of the city: Bicentennial Park Y Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) to access the doses.
Diego Jimbo, representative of the Agreement Against Cancercommented that, according to the experiences of the vaccinatedIf there are not many people at the immunization points, the application of the formula is carried out immediately; otherwise I know agenda for the next day.
