The one that was vice-president of the Generalitat Valenciana in the last Botanic legislatureAitana Mas, has announced through the social network X (formerly Twitter) that she suffers from cancer.
“I had been monitoring and controlling for more than four years that this moment would not come but finally it was inevitable…”, with these words Mas wanted to be the one in charge of communicating that she has cancer. Despite the diagnosis, she has conveyed a very clear message: “The bad news is that it is cancer… The good news is that I plan to cure myself. Don’t panic.”
In the message with which you have shared on your profile on the X network the now deputy spokesperson trustee of Compromís has insisted that he has “two powerful, precious and tender reasons that make me only think about living, I do not contemplate any other alternative. But it does not mean that tomorrow an easy path will begin.”
Aitana Mas is deputy spokesperson for Compromís en the Valencian Courts, She was also general director of Transparency and Participation of the Generalitat Valenciana in the first Botanical government (2015-2019). In 2022, following the resignation of Mónica Oltra, Mas assumed the vice presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana, the Department of Equality and the spokesperson for the Consell.
