Inter suspends classes and administrative work
The president of the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, Manuel J. Fernós, announced that the classes of bimester, trimester and minimestre that began today have been suspended.

EDP University
EDP University reported that due to what happened in the early hours of today and putting security first, administrative services will be offered to a minimum during this day. If in doubt, contact your supervisor. Classes start for Monday, January 13.
Sacred Heart University
The University of the Sacred Heart announced that due to the lack of electrical energy, as a result of the earthquake that took place today, administrative work in the university is suspended. Pontifical Catholic University
The president of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, Jorge Iván Vélez Arocho. He informed that the institution’s emergency protocol was activated. The structures of the three precincts of La Católica in Ponce, Arecibo and Mayaguez are being evaluated, to ensure that they are safe for the entire university community. Carlos Albizu University
