On the railway line between Würzburg (Bavaria) and Lauda-Königshofen (Main-Tauber-Kreis), there are currently train cancellations due to lack of staff in the railway workshops.
The staff situation is still tense, a spokesman for the railways said. This time, however, it affects less the staff of the trains or the train drivers, but above all the staff of the DB Regio workshop in Bavaria, which deals with the management of the Würzburg – Osterburken route. As a result, there were no vehicles.
Bahn wants to maintain a “stable” schedule.
Deutsche Bahn has tried to keep the timetable stable: the same connections are canceled every day so that travelers can prepare. School transport shouldn’t be affected, even if individual trains have already failed here. But this could be intercepted by a replacement service, the railroad spokesman said.
