Bad news related to the coronavirus keeps coming. Its persistence has resulted in the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the Oktoberfest, which was to take place from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October 2020, under a marquee, esplanade de la Barre, in Anglet.

Organized every two years, this beer festival is part of the more than 50 years twinning between Anglet and Ansbach, the capital of the district of middle Franconia, in Bavaria.
