The information was expected, it is now official. After Paléo and Sion under the stars, who each unplugged the plug yesterday, the giant of the Riviera also gives up turning on his speakers this summer. Scheduled initially from July 3 to 18, “the programming scheduled for this summer will be partially postponed to the next edition, which will be held from July 2 to 17, 2021”, details the team led by Mathieu Jaton.
The Festival is notably working on postponing the concerts already announced – Lionel Richie and Lenny Kravitz should be on the 2021 program – and will keep all ticket holders informed shortly, who will be able to choose to keep their tickets or request a refund. “It’s hard, even if you were prepared for it.” Mathieu Jaton, director of the Montreux Jazz Festival, still wanted to believe it.
