Even though the two of them had already held an engagement at a luxury hotel in August 2018 ago.
After two years, the CEO of Haagen-Dazs Indonesia will auction off the kebaya and batik he wore when he was engaged to Denny Sumargo.
“Of all the items that store stories and memories, only the batik dress and underwear I used for the engagement first which was then ready for me to auction,” said Dita Soedarjo.
Dita did it to remind people of the let go principle in life. According to him, all processes in the past have lessons.
“Why did I choose this? Because this teaches us about life must let go. But all the processes that have passed in the past are good for us and all have wisdom,” he said.
He will donate the results of this auction for one on one intensive counseling with a psychologist for young women in need.
“Maybe some of us, heartbreak is not a serious thing, but there are many people out there who need professional support to heal their wounds. Including young women who have just felt it,” he said.
