Canary Islands registers 141 new cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours | Radio Club Tenerife | Hour 25 Canary Islands

Canarias has registered 141 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, so that the total number of accumulated cases in the islands already rises to 57,391, and also has to mourn two deaths -on Gran canaria Y Tenerife, 50 and 57 years old, respectively, who were admitted, so the total number of deaths amounts to 775, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government.

Thus, of the total accumulated cases in the islands, 1,665 are active (+59), of which 23 are admitted to ICU (-3), 189 remain hospitalized (+1) and 1,453 are at their addresses (+61). Furthermore, so far 54,951 people have overcome the disease in the archipelago after 80 canaries were discharged.

Refering to Cumulative Incidence (HE) to 7 days in the Canary Islands it has risen slightly to 37.23 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the AI at 14 days is in the 69.99 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

So far 1,158,850 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 60,294 were positive, representing 5.2 percent.

BREAKDOWN BY ISLANDS

By islands, Tenerife adds 92 new infections and accumulates 25,344 accumulated cases, of which 1,081 are epidemiologically active (+40), 428 died and 23,835 were discharged; while Gran canaria has 22,850 accumulated cases (+36), of which 366 are active (+12), 273 died (+1) and 22,211 overcame the disease.

Lanzarote, for its part, accumulates 5,605 cases (+5), of which 106 remain epidemiologically active, 49 died and 5,450 were discharged; while Fuerteventura adds eight infections and accumulates 2,414 cases, of which 103 are active (+8), 13 died and 2,298 overcame the disease.

La Palma, for its part, remains with 571 cases, of which eight remain active, seven have died and 556 people have recovered from the virus; El Hierro remains with a cumulative 371, not having any active cases, four deaths and 367 people were discharged.

Finally, La Gomera also does not add cases and continues with 235 infections since the beginning of the pandemic, of which one is active (-1), while in its balance it registers one death and 233 people have overcome the disease.
