This update of the measures coincides with the entry into force of the new alert levels for islands agreed by the Canary Islands Government: Tenerife is at alert level 4, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura and La Palma at alert level 3, Lanzarote and La Gomera at alert level 2 and El Hierro at alert level 1.
At level 4, the new measures delay the closing of services and establishments until between 00:00 and 06:00 and in public transport the capacity is reduced to 33 percent, with a reinforcement in the more frequent lines. For occasional mass events with more than ten people, at levels 3 and 4 it is recommended that any celebration not subject to authorization be postponed.
Hospitality and Restoration

On levels 3 and 4, it is allowed to consume at the bar in groups of two people and marked spaces, buffets and self-services are prohibited and it closes before 00.00 a.m. Regarding cultural activity in cinemas, theaters, auditoriums and other venues, At level 4 the capacity is 55 percent, but only for people with a complete guideline, diagnostic test or who have overcome the disease. The public can be accommodated by groups of stable coexistence of up to 4 people, at least two seats will be kept free between groups and eating and drinking is prohibited.
In non-federated indoor physical and sports activities, at level 4 the capacity will be 33 percent and only for people with a complete guideline, diagnostic test or who have overcome the disease, it will be necessary to maintain a distance of two meters, groups of four people maximum and use of permanent mask.
For gambling and betting venues, at level 4 the capacity is 33 percent for people with a complete guideline, a diagnostic test or who have overcome the disease, can not eat or drink and four people per table maximum.
Public shows cannot be held on levels 3 and 4, and in terms of children’s camps, whether indoors or outdoors, the capacity on level 4 is 33 percent with a maximum of 20 people and groups of four .
For pools for collective use, on level 4 the capacity is 33 percent in the open ones, groups of up to two people and closed spas and whirlpools.
