Canarias adds 96 new cases in the last 24 hours | Radio Club Tenerife | Hour 25 Canary Islands

The Canary Islands have added 96 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total number of accumulated cases in the archipelago rises to 55,740, and it does not have to mourn deaths, so the death toll remains at 765 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Government.

Regarding the active cases, there are currently 1,807 (-134), of which 47 remain admitted to the ICU (-3), 227 are hospitalized (-6) and 1,533 are at home (-125). In addition, 53,168 people have overcome the disease so far after receiving medical discharge from 230 canaries.

For its part, the Accumulated Incidence (AI) at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 38.37 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the AI ​​at 14 days is at 80.79 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

To date, a total of 1,119,770 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 58,943 have been positive, representing 5.26 percent of the total.

By islands, Tenerife adds 49 new infections and accumulates 24,387 accumulated cases, of which 1,075 cases are epidemiologically active (-108), 423 have died and 22,889 have overcome the disease; while Gran Canaria has 22,487 accumulated cases (+29), of which 477 are active (-31), 268 have died and 21,742 received medical discharge.

Lanzarote, for its part, accumulates 5,384 cases (+14), of which 193 are epidemiologically active (+1), 49 have died and 5,142 have overcome the virus; Fuerteventura accumulates 2,314 (+3), of which 39 are active (+3), 13 have died and 2,262 received medical discharge.

Likewise, La Palma has a total of 563 cases (+1), of which 22 are active cases (+1), seven have died and 534 overcame the disease; El Hierro remains with an accumulated 371 cases, of which one is active, four have died and 366 received medical discharge.

Finally, La Gomera continues with 233 accumulated cases and currently does not have active cases, although its registry since the beginning of the pandemic includes one deceased person and 232 have received a medical discharge.
