Canarian Television broadcasts the Proclamation of the Candelaria Festivities

Canarian Television will be broadcast this Friday August 9th from the 22:00 hours the Proclamation of the Festivities in honour of Our Lady of Candelaria on the island of Tenerife, which will take place in the surroundings of the Basilica of Candelaria.

An event that will be presented by Patricia Santana and that will mark the beginning of the religious and cultural celebrations in honour of the Patron Saint of the Canary Islands that will extend throughout the month of August, specifically until the 18th.

The cast of singers includes Candelaria González, Jorge Cordero, Anatael Herrera, David Barrera, Augusto Brito, Andrés Campovari, Alberto Feria and Ernesto Rodríguez Abad.

After the opening speech, these festivities will begin, which every year unite the rich traditions and culture of Candelaria, and which expect the arrival of thousands of pilgrims.
